CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — According to a recent study published in the New York Times, Corpus Christi ranks in the top 10 U.S. cities for "Generation Z" to buy a home.
People considered a part of Gen Z currently in the 12 to 27 age range.
According to the study done by the group "Point 2", the older members of this generation are still early into their careers and have fewer financial reserves when it comes to things like home buying.
And a time when inflation is impacting all aspects of life, Corpus Christi, Laredo and Fort Worth were the three Texas cities on the top 10 where it's easiest for this age group to buy a home.
Some of the cities where it is most difficult was Los Angeles, Newark and Sacramento.
