CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The city of Corpus Christi wants you to do everything you can to conserve water.
Adrianna Escamilla of Corpus Christi Water joined us live with tips on how to capitalize on the concept of xeriscaping, also known as drought-resistant gardening and landscaping.
These tips come ahead of Corpus Christi Water's upcoming Xeriscape Symposium, which aims to celebrate 30 years of teaching the public about the environmental and financial benefits of drought-resistant landscaping.
The Xeriscape Symposium is set for Saturday, Feb. 3, at the American Bank Center. The symposium will run from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. and feature educational talks by weather, water and gardening experts, as well as a wide variety of vendors and giveaways.
