CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas —
The City of Corpus Christi will break ground on a new street project.
The city's engineering services department will grab their shovels and head to Airport Road to commemorate the start of the construction.
The project will transform the existing four-lane road to a two-lane road to better suit traffic flow in the area.
Additional enhancements will also be made to the road, accessibility and utilities.
