CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Sunday morning, Domingo live got a sneak-peek at this year's American GI Forum Hispanic Heritage Month bus wrap. Or make that bus wraps!
A total of three special bus wraps will roll out this year. Each one celebrating Hispanic veterans, community members and for the first time, young leaders from throughout the Coastal Bend.
"We have to teach the young people, as well, and maybe they can be inspired as well. And it's important for us to remember our cultura, nuestras tradiciones, and this is a perfect way of doing that," said Carlos Lopez of the American GI Forum.
The Hispanic Heritage Month bus wraps make their debut at the American GI Forum's unveiling event next Thursday, September 26.
That will be at Alexia's Event Center and Bridal Boutique on Johanna Street in Corpus Christi.
