CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — If you have any interest in learning about the Corpus Christi Police Department, now is your chance!
CCPD is now accepting applications for the 54th Citizen's Police Academy.
It's a 12-week program where you will gain first hand knowledge of what being an officer entails.
The program includes a ride-along with a patrol officer, presentations from SWAT, the Gang, Bomb and Diving unit.
The deadline to apply is December 15.
Classes begin one month later, on January 16!
