CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — A shooting in Aransas Pass that police initially believed was accidental, has now been ruled, as intentional, according to APPD officials.
On Friday night officers arrived to a home on Yoakum Avenue where they found 18-year-old Philip Esslinger shot in the chest. He was rushed to a nearby hospital where he later died from his injuries.
On Thursday police took 19-year-old Trintton Ray Crisp into custody charging him with murder after evidence led them to believe that the shooting was not an accident after all.
Crisp remains behind bars Thursday tonight with no bond set at this time.
