CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Parents --this weekend-- you can register your Pre-K students for CCISD at La Palmera mall.
You will need to bring a birth certificate, residence verification and immunization record as well as proof of income.
The registration event is set to begin at 11 a.m. on Saturday

Del Mar College is hosting a one stop registration event at the Harvin Student Center at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
Undergrads can find help with applications and FAFSA assistance.
Student services include admissions, financial aid and veteran's services as well as student ID cards.

Now that another school year is finally upon us, what better way to prepare your kids than with free school supplies and a day filled with fun in Portland.
This back-to-school vendor event will feature face-painting, bounce houses, and shopping as well as school essentials --while supplies last.
The event takes place this Saturday from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. at the suites on more in Portland.

'Sit and Sip' salon will be hosting their first back to school bash --pampering children before classes begin.
They are handing out 50 backpacks to kids in need and will also be offering haircuts, braids and other services. That bash is taking place this Friday evening at 5 p.m. and will run through 9 p.m.
