CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — John-Thomas, Barbi and Lexis joined students at the Bayshore School of Science and Technology to read a bit of Dr. Seuss to local elementary students.

3News anchor Barbi Leo visits Dr. M.L. Garza-Gonzalez Public Charter School to read to the students for Read Across America Week, a nationwide event by the National Education Association Promoting Books and Literacy. First Edition's Carly Smith also took some time to visit the M.L. Garza students to read to kiddos this week.
It often takes place on the birthday of children's author Dr. Seuss.
