CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — A reminder: A benefit is happening Saturday for the family of Ailani Castro the 4-month-old infant who died while in the care of her father one week ago today.
That barbecue benefit will take place beginning at noon Saturday at Los Laguneros bar off of Morgan Avenue.
Police responded to the incident at an apartment on McArdle near Ennis Joslin last Friday where the child was found unresponsive.
She later died from her injuries.
Her father Juan Castro was arrested and remains in the Nueces County Jail with no bond.
