CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — There has been a change in command at Naval Air Station - Kingsville.
Captain Michael Bishop became commanding officer in a ceremony at the air station on Friday.
Bishop relieved Captain Eric Bromley, who has commanded the station since August 2022.
Bromley, who is retiring after 24 years of service in the Navy, received the Legion of Merit from Rear Admiral John Hewitt, Commanding Officer of Navy Region Southeast.
In his farewell address, Bromley thanked the sailors and civilians of the command for their support and dedication.
