CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Calling all filmmakers!
The Corpus Christi Seven-Day Film Project kicks off tonight.
The film contest is in its 17th year --challenging Coastal Bend creatives to write, shoot, and edit a short film-- all in seven days.
Pictures must include required elements that will be announced on Wednesday night.
The qualifying movies that make it to the deadline next Wednesday --will be screened at Alamo Drafthouse in September.
The kickoff begins at 6 p.m. over at House of Rock downtown.
