Corpus Christi Cathedral invites community to peruse rummage sale

The Rev. James Stembler said the event will help raise funds for future community events while creating an opportunity to grow their relationship with residents.

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The Corpus Christi Cathedral is hosting a rummage sale for the community as a way to raise money for its maintenance fund.

The sale will be held in the basement of Cathedral which is known as St. Joseph Hall. See the hours below:

  • Thursday 4 - 7 p.m.  
  • Friday 8 a.m. - 6 p.m. (Early bird shopping for $15 entry)
  • Saturday 8 a.m. - 7 p.m.
  • Sunday 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Residents can expect to find furniture, household items, appliances, toys, sports goods and more!

The Rev. James Stembler said the goal is to raise money to allow them to get out into the community more, and that this event will help achieve those goals while also having an opportunity to grow their relationship with residents.

"You're very welcome to come this weekend and enjoy the hospitialiy of the cathedral parishioners," he said. "They've been doing wonderful work in setting this all up and it's all for you, so be sure to come down and be a part of this rummage sale and be a help to this cathedral parish community."
