CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Two temporary closures from the Corpus Christi Parks and Recreation Department this week.
One is the Bayfront Park Fountain, it closed Wednesday for repairs. At this time, it is unclear when repairs will be completed. The department will notify the public as soon as repairs are finished, and the fountain reopens.
The closure of the Play-for-All Playground at Salinas Park starts July 18 and will continue through Nov. 15. Improvements will include restoring the soft fall zone surface to the playground for the safety of our visitors, along with improvements to the drainage. The existing play surface will be removed, and a new pour-in-place deck will be installed over the concrete.
