CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The Corpus Christi Tritons laced up their cleats for the first practice of their first season.
"Now that we have players here we're excited to get them intermixed into the community let everybody see them, touch them, talk to them and so we're excited about every opportunity that we get and the more that we can do something positive in the community, the more excited we are," Corpus Christi Tritons Coach Bradley Chavez said.
The Tritons are the first arena team in Corpus Christi since 2017 and they plan to leave their mark on the American Bank Center with unforgettable experiences for fans attending home games.
"Let's go get a championship first year and show the younger generation who want to play for us what this place is about," Wide Receiver for the Corpus Christi Tritons, Cameron Johnson said.
The team's first game is against the Oklahoma Tribe on March 17.
