CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The city is inviting the public to the grand re-opening of the Corpus Christi Watergarden on Wednesday, May 1, at 7:00 p.m.
The announcement was posted Wednesday morning on Facebook by the city's Public Works and Engineering Department.
A test run of the beloved outdoor attraction was conducted last March as construction was finishing up the $8 million restoration project.
It has been 6 years since the Watergardens were flooded and damaged by Hurricane Harvey.
