CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Now through December, Del Mar Collège will be offering free services to qualifying Coastal Bend residents!
The Del Mar College Dental Hygiene Clinic gives students a hands-on experience and required training hours they need in order to start their career as a dental hygienist or assistant.
Dental Hygiene instructors, Trey Alvarez and Mary Guerra spoke with 3NEWS about the importance of patient interaction for their students and how what they learn at Del Mar truly sets them up for a career in dental health.
Second-year students Trinity Lozano and Madison Hernandez talked about their experience in the program. They look forward to seeing and helping out new, local patients this semester.
