Direction to Success: STEM Workshop wants to serve at-risk Hispanic population

The Instituto de Cultura Hispánica de Corpus Christi wants you to check out this STEM workshop on Saturday.

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The National Science Foundation and Texas A&M-Corpus Christi are teaming up with the Instituto de Cultura Hispánica de Corpus Christi to promote science, technology, engineering and math among young Hispanic students with an upcoming STEM workshop. 

STEM-Tronics is an educational platform developed to introduce Engineering technologies to a new generation of students. It is based on hands-on activities with various electrical and mechanical modules. Through the workshop, students will have the chance to create unique projects

The workshop is free, but seats are limited. It will take place at the Instituto de Cultura Hispanica de Corpus Christi located at 1617 N Chaparral Street, Corpus Christi, TX 78401. 

  • Session A (Ages: 10-13): 9:00am - 12:30pm
  • Session B (Ages: 14-17): 1:30pm - 5:00pm
