Saturday was the last day for Corpus Christi voters to head to the polls to vote for their picks for mayor and Dist. 1 and 4.
The whole city is eligible to vote for either incumbent mayor Paulette Guajardo or at-large councilman Michael Hunter. Neither had mor than 50 percent of the vote after November's general election, which had four other candidates vying for the office: John Calkusic, Anthem Powers, Isabel Araiza and Joshua Fraedrick.
District. 1 will vote for their pick between incumbent councilman Everett Roy and former councilman Billy Lerma. District 1 includes North Beach, Downtown, parts of Uptown, Annaville and Calallen.
District 4 voters will decide between May Mendoza and Kaylynn Paxson. Both political newcomers, an incumbent is not running in this race after Dan Suckley decided to not seek re-election after one term.
3NEWS will provide live, up-to-date coverage Saturday night after polls close at 7 p.m., so stay turned to 3NEWS and 3NEWS+ for updates.
