CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — An elderly man accidentally hit the gas instead of the brakes before ramming into a church near the Prescott Village Barber Shop, according to CCPD.
The accident happened at the Cornerstone Christian Fellowship Church after 9 a.m. Tuesday on the 4400 block of Prescott Street.
Authorities are not allowing anyone in the building right now. The electricity has been disrupted and was out after the accident.
The pastor tells 3NEWS that there were no injuries and services will go on this Sunday. This is the second time in 15 years his church has been hit by a vehicle. The elderly man was treated at the scene but did not go to the hospital.
