CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Houston's Bush Intercontinental Airport activated their emergency plan and travelers are encouraged to check with their airlines to make sure their flights are not canceled.
Most flights from the Corpus Christi International Airport to Houston and Dallas have been canceled. You can check the status of current flights here.
"As we go through the morning and we see what the storm is going to do, then we'll make that determination as to what time we're pulling back all of those flights and start flying again; we are doing all we can," Chief Operating Officer for Houston Airports Kelly Woodward said.
Airport officials want travelers to proceed with caution.
Essential personnel are at both the Bush and the William P. Hobby airports.
The airports are working closely with the FAA and the Houston Office of Emergency Management.
