CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — On Monday, TxDOT canceled the overnight right lane closure of the US 77 overpass at I-37 that was planned to take place from 1 to 6 a.m. Tuesday for continued work on the new Nueces River Bridge
All lanes will remain open during the originally scheduled work time, according to TxDOT spokesperson Rickey Dailey.
The latest closure for the Nueces River Bridge project took place overnight Sunday, at the southbound US 77 direct connector to southbound I-37.
As always, drivers are reminded to expect delays, slow down in the work zone and watch for workers and equipment.
