CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The Ingleside Police Department is ready to celebrate the most wonderful time of the year again! IPD took to Facebook to announce that they are ready to receive donations for this year's inaugural launch of their Magic of Christmas with Blue Santa program.
The initiative aims to bring joy and support to underprivileged children within the community during the festive season. In past years, the department says they have been able to make a significant impact through the generous support of community members Last year, community and corporate partner donation contributions, helped provided gifts to over 400 children in need.
Ingleside PD said that donations, whether monetary or otherwise, will go directly towards purchasing gifts for children who might otherwise go without gifts and toys during the holidays. Every contribution, no matter the size, makes a difference and helps them spread holiday cheer to those who need it most, they said.
You can add Ingleside's "Magic of Christmas with Blue Santa" to your Christmas list and donate before Friday, December 13, 2024.
If your business or organization would like to make a donation or serve as a toy drop or donation location, please contact Community Services Officer Shevon Baldi at Sbaldi@inglesidetx.gov or call 361-776-2531.
