CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Two athletes from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi are taking part in this year's Olympic Games.
Ryann Phillips is representing the United States in the trap shooting competition.
The 20-year-old will be showing off her skills with a shotgun and flying clay targets. Women's qualifiers start Tuesday.
Giuliana Poletti Corrales will be representing Paraguay as she takes to the sand in the beach volleyball competition.
She will begin her Olympic competition on Wednesday.
