Judge grants Roxanne Palacios bond reduction for 2022 fatal wrong-way crash

While Palacios' bond was reduced, there are conditions she has to meet if she does make bail.

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — On Wednesday, Judge David Klein reduced Roxanne Palacios bond from $750,000 to $100,000. In 2022, Palacios was arrested for a deadly wrong-way crash on the Harbor Bridge that killed two San Patricio County Sheriff's Office employees.

A third person was also seriously injured in the crash.

Police say on the night of the accident, Palacios had just left a company party where she had been drinking.

While Palacios' bond was reduced, there are conditions she has to meet if she does make bail.

First, she will not be able to operate a motor vehicle, and will be on house arrest if she manages to make bail. Palacios will have to pay for an ankle monitor at her own expense.
