City to begin spraying for mosquitos following Tropical Storm Alberto

Vector control will be spraying for mosquitos throughout the city this week. Check out our story for details on the schedule.

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Following all that rain --mosquitos!

The city of Corpus Christi will be spraying for the blood suckers this week.

Vector control will be out in Flour Bluff on Monday. 

Then they'll spray in the Calallen area on Tuesday.

On Wednesday --they will be in northwest Corpus Christi.

Thursday, the Island and finally --North Beach on Friday.

For a better look at the spraying schedule, you can check out the list below:

  • Monday, June 24, Route – 27, 28, 29 (Flour Bluff), and 26
  • Tuesday, June 25, Route – 1, 2, 3 (Calallen)
  • Wednesday, June 26, Route – 4, 5, 7 (Northwest)
  • Thursday, June 27, Route – 30, 31, 32 (Island), and 23
  • Friday, June 28, Route – 9, 10, 11 (North Beach), and 12

The spraying route schedule is tentative and subject to change due to weather conditions and wind speeds.
