Motorcyclist ejected from bike dies after Ennis Joslin accident Sunday night

The 30-year-old man lost control of his motorcycle around 10 p.m. Sunday, a witness told Corpus Christi Police officers.

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — A motorcyclist died after being transported to a local hospital Sunday night for a single-vehicle motorcycle accident on the 1500 block of Ennis Joslin Road at around 10:06 p.m.

The motorcyclist has been identified as 30-year-old Mason Saenz.

A witness told Corpus Christi Police officers that they saw Saenz lose control of his motorcycle as they were approaching the roadway from a private drive. That's when they saw the 30-year-old ejected from the bike.

Traffic investigators found that the driver of the motorcycle was traveling northbound on Ennis Joslin in the right lane when the accident happened.

CCPD said the driver of the motorcycle was wearing a helmet at the time of the incident, but excessive speed played a factor in fatal incident.
