CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The Harbor Bridge Project is set to be complete by spring 2025 and work appears to be full steam ahead as public information coordinator with the project, Lynn Allison, told 3NEWS that the construction project has now made it over water.
She also pointed out that eight of 19 pylons on the northside, and six of 19 pylons on the southside of the bridge will be in place next week.
At the pre-cast yard, Allison said there's only six segments left to cast out of 2,651.
The set of stays being installed this week on the north tower are 440 feet long. The first stays were about 180 feet.
A crane working on the north tower is needing some new parts that have to be brought in from out of town, however developers say that the problem is not affecting the work schedule.
