CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — City leaders got an update on five-years worth of progress on North Beach during Tuesday's city council meeting.
Those improvements include the City's $25.5 million drainage project, which is part of Bond 2024.
Corpus Christi Engineering Services Director Jeff Edmonds said design work for the North Beach drainage project has been completed, and now the City is advertising for bids.
"We've got funding coming from lots of different sources on this, we've got Bond 18 funding, we've got Bond 20 funding, we've got Bond 24 funding if it passes, we've got ARPA funding," he said.
Other improvements include expanding the parking lot for the Texas State Aquarium and new restrooms and parking for North Beach.
