One man is dead following argument with neighbors of Brandywine Court

Police said no arrests have been made in the shooting, which happened on Thursday evening.

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — A disturbance between neighbors has left one man dead and now Corpus Christi Police Department officers are trying to figure out what lead to the death.

It happened just before 8:30 p.m. on Thursday when officers were called to the 3800 block of Brandywine Court. The call came in that there was a shooting and one person had been injured. 

Once police got to the scene, they said they found a 22-year-old man with a gunshot wound. 

The victim was taken to the hospital where he died.

Police tell 3NEWS that there were several people believed to have been involved. 

Corpus Christi Police Department's Robbery Homicide Division detectives were called to the scene to start a homicide investigation, and witnesses and individuals were detained for questioning.

As of right now, police say it appears that some sort of disturbance was going on between neighbors of Brandywine Court when someone pulled out a weapon and shot the 22-year-old man. 

No arrests have been made, but police say this investigation is still in the early stages. Anyone with information is asked to call Corpus Christi Police at (361) 886-2600.
