CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — It will soon sound a lot like Christmas with bells ringing in the air as The Salvation Army's annual Red Kettle campaign kicks off on Saturday!
The fundraiser is crucial for the organization and helps bring in money for those in need.
According to Commanding Officer for the organization, Major Nathaniel Doria, even the smallest acts of generosity work together to keep this holiday tradition going.
"If you see a bell ringer please give something, at least something," he said. "If everybody in the Coastal Bend, just in Corpus Christi; if everybody give less than 50 cents we will raise the goal of $150,000."
Feel like giving back extra? The Salvation Army is also in need of volunteers for their Red Kettle campaign! Learn more on how you can sign up here.
