CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — After only one month of rehearsal, "The Spongebob Musical" is bringing it around town Tuesday night at Veterans Memorial High School.
The kids with the Richard King and Gregory-Portland High School theatre programs teamed up to tell the epic story of our favorite sponge, his "Bikini Bottom" friends and the journey they embark on to save their undersea home.
"We spend like eight hours of rehearsal a day. But we just know that we could be doing something else, but we're doing this instead and it really brings light to the show knowing that it's going to be a good show, and we're excited," said Elias Vasquez, who plays Patrick Star.
So if nautical nonsense be something you wish, you've got options...
The show starts at 7 every night until Friday July 12th.
