CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — There were thousands of smiles and fulfilled dreams at the American Bank Center on Saturday for the Texas A&M University- Corpus Christi Spring Commencement Ceremony.
The students' caps were decorated and adorned as they walked the stage to receive their diplomas and congratulations.
Family and friends all came together to celebrate their loved ones' accomplishments.
One Islander graduate who served in the national guard, Marista Quintanilla, expressed her excitement in getting her bachelor's degree in psychology to elevate her military career.
"I feel extremely happy, I feel like this accomplishment was very very far out of my reach and now I'm able to actually graduate, walk the stage today and be a commissioned officer," Quintanilla said.
A big congratulations to all of the graduating Islanders.
