PADRE ISLAND, Texas — While Tropical Storm Francine is currently forecasted to land on Louisiana's coast, effects of the storm can still be felt on our Texas Coast.
3NEWS was out Tuesday morning to scope out the minor coastal flooding under and around the JFK Causeway.
As of Tuesday morning, the National Weather Service reports that the hazards for the area include up to three feet of inundation on our beaches, high rip current risk, strong offshore winds and up to 13 feet of offshore high seas.
