CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Early Sunday morning, a shooting left one man in the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
CCPD officials said that they were sent to the 5000 block of Carroll Lane at 3:52 a.m. to respond to a shooting.
When officers arrived, they found a 55-year-old male with a gunshot wound. Police provided medical aid until medics arrived to take the man to a local hospital said CCPD.
CCPD said that they were able to determine that the gunshot victim was arguing with the suspect, a 47-year-old male, when he pulled out a knife. The suspect then pulled out a gun and shot the victim. The suspect fled the scene in a white vehicle.
Officers are still looking for the suspect.
This is an active and ongoing investigation.
