CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Three juveniles are in police custody Monday morning after a Robstown PD officer reportedly caught them in the act of damaging and stealing classroom items from Ortiz Intermediate School.
The department said they responded to an alarm in the area at around 12:20 a.m. When they arrived, an officer observed three individuals inside a classroom. Once additional officers arrived on scene, entry was made into the school, and all three juveniles were taken into custody for burglary and criminal mischief.
The police department said their actions possibly prevented further damage and theft to other rooms.
The crime scene was processed, and all of the suspects were taken to the Juvenile Justice Center.
