Monday saw thousands more outages during icy weather
AEP Texas reported that thousands of residents across the Coastal Bend lost power Monday during the Winter Storm Warning issued by the National Weather Service.

AEP Texas' Omar Lopez said that while each area's outages are still under investigation, crews believe that all outages were caused by the frigid and slippery weather conditions throughout the day.
