AEP: 4,000 without power on city’s South Side, expected to be restored by 9:30 p.m. on Sunday

AEP officials said it is not yet known what caused the outage, it is estimated that power will be restored by 9:30 p.m.

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — A major power outage has been reported on the South Side of Corpus Christi, as of 6 p.m. Sunday. 

AEP crews have been dispatched and are actively working on getting the power back on. 

You can expect your power to be reconnected at around 9:30 p.m.
