CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Six children in the Coastal Bend were officially adopted into their forever homes on Wednesday.
The news comes just in time for the holidays as families make it official over at the Nueces County Courthouse.
The heartwarming ceremony brought one mother, and some of us in the newsroom, tears of happiness.
We spoke with Judge Timothy McCoy, who said adoption ceremonies are the best part of his job.
"These cases are so hard to deal with day in and day out. It's very difficult to find permeance and today was great because they were able to find it with foster families. Their own, they know they are gonna have their forever home."
From all of us here at TV-3, a big congratulations to all the families, and those involved in making it a reality.
