Apply for the Nueces County Appraisal Review Board

You must pass a background check and have no delinquent property taxes.

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Get your resumes ready because the Nueces County Appraisal District is hiring and looking to fill 5 to 10 spots.

You must pass a background check and have no delinquent property taxes.

It is important to note, that if you do apply, you must have some knowledge on real estate and you will have to oversee disputes between property owners and appraisal districts.

Chief appraiser Ronnie Canales told 3NEWS that the job will pay $170 a meeting and there is no deadline when it comes to applying.

"We will keep resumes that we have in place and hopefully as time goes, somebody leaves and that applicant will be on file. And then will we will call that applicant and see if they are wanting to serve and they say "Yes," and we bring them on board," said Canales.

If you are interested, you can pick up an application at the Nueces County Appraisal District office.

They are open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
