CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Several Aransas Pass roadways are flooded Wednesday morning as city crews work to keep drivers safe until a flash flood warning issued by the National Weather Service subsides.
The city assured drivers around 8:45 a.m. that all pumps are operable but said the amount of rain received in a short period of time has been extremely difficult to manage.
- TxDOT's Highway Conditions roadmap indicates water over the following streets:
- FM1069 near the Falman Colonia (north and southbound lanes)
- Parts of West Wheeler Avenue between FM 1069 and Harrison Boulevard (east and westbound lanes)
- North and South Commercial Streets
- East Goodnight Avenue heading onto the Redfish Bay Causeway
The map estimates at this time that the issue will be resolved around 2 p.m.
You can check the most up to date status and conditions of different roadways on DriveTexas.org.
