CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Tri County Crime Stoppers and Aransas Pass PD are searching for a driver they say hit a man in a motorized wheelchair near a Walmart by FM1069 in late October.
The incident happened on Oct. 27 at approximately 6:50 p.m. as the man in the wheelchair travelled toward the Walmart. A vehicle exiting the parking lot collided with the handicapped man and proceeded southbound on FM 1069 without stopping to provide assistance.
Police said the victim sustained multiple injuries as a result of this incident.
