CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The Beeville Public Works Department has completed repairs on the culvert under the 600 block of North Jefferson Street. The street is now open for both eastbound and westbound traffic on Kennedy between N. St. Mary’s and N. Buchanan Street.
Crews are also working on a street closure caused by water leak patches in the 500 block of N. St. Mary's (area between Kennedy and Cleveland Street, in front of CC’s and the Water/Utility building). Street closure signs will be posted for drivers in the area.
Residents will still be able to access the Water and Utility building from the south side.
Work is expected to take approximately four hours, extending from Thursday morning into the evening.
Drivers are asked to pass through the area and allow extra time for their commute.
