Positively Pink| Mammogram Drives and more in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — This month, you can help change the lives of women in the Coastal Bend by supporting various events happening throughout town when it comes to Breast Cancer Awareness Month. 

First Edition was joined by Tisha Zirbes, who is an organizer with First Friday and a breast cancer survivor says people still don't know about the free mammograms they provide at monthly events despite efforts to get the word out. 

Oct. 3: Second Annual Pink Diva Style Show, which benefits 'Breast Friends,' which helps provide free prosthetics and bras for women that have mastectomies. It will take place inside of the Coastal Bend Wellness Center. 

On Saturday, Oct. 5, the Ruguladores Biker Club will return from a short hiatus to put on Bikers for Boobs at Brewster Street Icehouse Downtown. They have raised over $260,000 for the cause in the club's 20-year history of putting on the event. 

On Saturday, Oct. 12, Radiology and Associates will host a Mammogram Drive at their Six Points location at 1812 S. Alameda. It is a free event.
