CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — A two-vehicle crash along I37 caused one car to go through the fence at the Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery, around 6:30 p.m. Wednesday.
3NEWS Chief Photographer Preston West was gathering information on a high-speed 18-wheeler chase when he noticed the accident.
Corpus Christi police at the scene confirmed that the crash was not part of the chase.
Despite damages to both vehicles and the cemetery fence, there were fortunately no injuries reported.
One of the drivers on scene told 3NEWS she is grateful, because her child was in the back seat and was not injured.
