CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Kingsville Police Department arrested two men they believe robbed Oliver’s Distinctive Jewelry on Oct. 18.

Police chief John Blair said Jacob Garcia was wearing the clown mask in the initial surveillance photo that was sent to 3NEWS on Friday, and his brother, Seth, is also believed to have participated in the crime.

Jacob Garcia is charged with burglary, and the 26-year-old is being held in the Kleberg County Jail on a $600 bond.

The brothers are believed to have taken around $7,000 in merchandise.

Police became aware of the burglary when an alarm sounded from the store at about 3:49 a.m. Friday. They responded and found the front door shattered.

The property was cleared, and they were able to retrieve video surveillance footage of a man in a clown mask kicking the door in and using a small trash can from the store to dump jewelry in before leaving the way he came in.

Police said some evidence was found several blocks from the scene.

Anyone with information about the suspect can call KPD at (361) 592-4311 or (361) 592-4636.
