Upcoming Country acts, fun coming to 49th Annual Rockport Seafair

The three-day festival starts this Friday.

ROCKPORT, Texas — There's fun for the whole family waiting for you at the 49th annual Rockport-Fulton SeaFair. The three-day festival kicks off this Friday Oct. 4, and this year children get in free!

Known for its crab races and car show, the festival is sure to have something for people of all ages. 

Saturday's festivities kickoff with a parade that runs right through the middle of downtown Rockport. After that, you can expect a day filled with live music from people like local artist Dean Adamson and the Little Skynyrd Tribute Band.

SeaFair chairman Jordan Pilgrim and Rockport-Fulton Chamber of Commerce tourism coordinator, Alyssa Massingil spoke with First Edition ahead of the big weekend and say their looking forward to a big turnout.

 Everyone else over 12 years old, admission is $10 a day or you can pay for a $20 wristband that admits you for the entire weekend.
