CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — A group of local runners put in some exercise before filling up their plates Thursday.
The Corpus Christi Roadrunners held their 42nd annual turkey-themed race in the morning, and president Doug McBee said it's one of their largest races, with more than 600 participants.
"It's always been about having a good run and getting some exercise in before you go have your turkey this afternoon," he said.
