CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — People gathered in droves out at Heritage Park on Saturday night, grabbing a glass of wine and supporting the local music scene.
The 6th annual Wine Festival festival, which took inspiration from the Rockport Wine Festival, brought the show down to Corpus Christi where you can enjoy live music, food, and a chance to sample local wine, a holiday essential.
3NEWS caught up with Frank Arriaga, one of the co-founders of the festival, he said the event will benefit many different organizations.
"Part of the core of this is putting on non-profit organizations and trying to facilitate an opportunity for some of the smaller organizations to raise money. And we actually donate to non-profits in exchange for volunteer work and volunteer hours it helps us put the festival on," said Arriaga.
