CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The American Cancer Society's Cattle Baron's Ball - Corpus Christi chapter hosted a full-on fiesta Thursday night at the Concrete Street Amphitheater for the 2024 'Couture for a Cure Style Show.'
Co-chair for the Cattle Baron's Ball Cindy Barrera said the event allows the community to honor the fight, strength and bravery of those battling cancer as well as their caregivers and families who fight alongside them.
"We are celebrating the caregivers of cancer patients, cancer survivors and those we have lost to cancer," Barrera said. "Tonight, we are honoring Nova Heron, we are celebrating just everyone who cares for someone who has or has had cancer."
Thursday's event will lead up to next Saturday's Cattle Baron's Ball which will be emceed by our own Leslie Adami and Alan Holt.
