CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — CCPD officers responded to a fatal crash in the 5900 block of St. Andrews Drive on Sunday evening at 8:51 p.m.
Police told 3NEWS that the driver was speeding in the north lanes of St. Andrews Drive when the car left the roadway and hit several trees.
The driver was thrown from the car and was later discovered by police when they arrived on scene.
He was taken to a hospital where he ultimately died from his injuries.
CCPD said no one else was involved or injured.
